Live out nannies are usually hired from your local area and we work with you to develop a job description and screening criteria. Once we have screened the candidates we will develop a short list of candidates for you to interview.

Salaries for live out nannies are negotiate between the employer and nanny supported by Inspired Nannies.

The Process

We endeavour to match the personalities and needs of families to the nannies that will be the best fit for them. The placement process is as follows:

Families complete and return our Family Agreement (a questionnaire to help us assess your needs) and provide the $175 deposit.

We contact you within 48 hours to discuss your requirements.

We contact our nannies and determine which of the candidates are most suitable for your position.

We then send you the resumes and reference letters of the appropriate candidates. We only refer the top two or three candidates for each position. Based on your availability, we schedule interviews at a convenient location for you. Most families prefer to hold interviews at their home so the nanny has an opportunity to meet your children.

Once you have chosen your nanny, we will take care of the details:  negotiation of salary, contracts, paperwork, payroll and taxes.
