Debby is a Certified Human Resources Professional, and founded her first company Inspired HR Ltd, after having spent many years in senior Human Resources management. While overseeing the consulting business and managing her young family Debby saw an opportunity to add value to the Nanny business through taking a disciplined approach to recruiting and retaining great caregivers. Having a live-in nanny herself, and having lived through the process, Debby saw many agencies were able to find suitable candidate but that is where the service ended. New parents with a nanny often have questions and need support to ensure they can retain their nanny. This is how Inspired Nannies came to be.

Debby is active in the community; she is a board member for Westside Recreation and a volunteer for Human Resources Association of Alberta. She currently resides in Calgary with her husband, two children and live-in nanny. Debby is currently completing her MBA and has also studied Human Resources and Finance at Queen’s School of Business and the University of Victoria. Shalan M. Jaye

Shalan has a degree from the University of British Columbia in Political Science with a major in Third World politics. She has travelled extensively through Asia & Europe and has volunteered with Compassion Canada and CIDA in Africa. Shalan believes the mutually respectful approach of Inspired Nannies is key to a positive working relationship between the caregiver and family - "a happy caregiver is going to give the best care for you and your children". Shalan's extended family does not live in Ontario and she empathizes with the need for a little "extra help". Katharine Casey

Katharine’s passion has always been family. Now the mother of two children, Katharine is loving being a mom but also loves having live-in nanny support! This firsthand experience means she fully appreciates the importance of having the right fit between a family and their nannie and will work with you to understand your family’s dynamic and needs. Katharine also brings the Inspired Nannies team insights and talents from her Recreation Program diploma, establishing and running the Maui Four Seasons children’s program, working as a nanny in Australia and strong success in business to business sales for national corporations.
